FCC Technician Exam Question Of The Day (T5C10)

Q) How much power is being used in a circuit when the applied voltage is 12 volts DC and the current is 2.5 amperes?

A) 30 watts

NJ2X Notes:
Memorize the PIE triangle to make this type of question super easy to solve.

NJ2X PIE Triangle (Power, Current, Voltage)

Just cover up the desired variable to find the equation.  In this example:

P = I * E
P = 2.5 amperes * 12 vots = 30 watts

Easy as PIE!
